GUWAHATI: Anti talk ULFA faction on Sunday triggered a grenade explosion in Guwahati's Paltan Bazar area injuring over 14 people on Sunday. Those injured included three girls from Hasimara in West Bengal and two people from Nagaland. Two police was also injured.

Police sources said that anti talk ULFA was looking to strike in Guwahati. Assam chief Minister, Tarun Gogoi has asked the police to intensify operation against militants. A team from National Investigation Agency (NIA) has reached the spot.
