'Army training' will be given to students in Gujarat's border districts: CM Anandi Patel
AHMEDABAD: Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel today announced that her government planned to give army training to school and college students in the districts bordering Pakistan.

"There are districts along the Pakistan border which are vulnerable in terms of security. It is our responsibility to provide them security. Therefore the students of primary and secondary schools as well as the college students of the border districts will be given army training and the state government has made certain plans for that," Patel said at a function in Junagadh.

Kutch, Banaskantha and Patan districts of the state share border with the neighbouring country.

Patel was in Junagadh to inaugurate wi-fi facility at historical Narsinh Mehta pond and at Junagadh district collectorate.
