Chief of Army Staff Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag on Wednesday visited State capital Imphal and also took an aerial survey of the Indo-Myanmar border in Chandel.

GUWAHATI: Army will launch a major offensive on Northeast militants.

Recently 6 Assam Rifles jawans were killed in manipur. Chief of Army Staff Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag on Wednesday visited State capital Imphal and also took an aerial survey of the Indo-Myanmar border in Chandel.

Suhag was accompanied by Lt Gen Praveen Bakshi, eastern Army commander.

Last year 18 jawans were killed and in retaliation army launched surgical strike in and around indo Myanmar border.
