NEW DELHI: Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag today dismissed reports that Chinese troops had entered 25 to 30 km deep into Indian territory in Burtse area in Ladakh.

"There is nothing like that," he said in reply to a question.

Chinese troops were reported to have entered 25 to 30 km deep into Indian territory in Burtse area, which is located at an altitude of 17,000 feet.

Last year, they had pitched tents in the area leading to a tense three-week standoff.
