Arjun Munda discharged from hospital

Arjun Munda & his wife were today discharged from a hospital, 9 days after they were admitted for treatment of injuries they had suffered in a helicopter accident.

RANCHI: Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda and his wife were today discharged from a hospital, nine days after they were admitted for treatment of injuries they had suffered in a helicopter accident.

"The chief minister and his wife, Meera, were discharged this evening," Apollo Hospital spokesperson Javed Akhtar said here.

Munda, his wife, pilots J P S Kaushik and Vipul Kumar Singh, BJP MLA Barkuanr Gagrai and security officer Manoj Singh were injured after the helicopter crash landed at Birsa Munda Airport here on May 9.

The MLA and the security officer were discharged a few days ago. The two pilots, who suffered fractures in lumber vertebra, are still under treatment in the hospital, the spokesperson said.
