Arjun Munda congratulates Telangana people, Chandrasekhar Rao for becoming its CM

RANCHI: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today welcomed Telengana as it became the 29th state of the country.

"I welcome the 29th state of the country and congratulate K Chandrasekhar Rao of Telengana Rashtra Samiti and extend my warm wishes to him on becoming chief minister of the newest state," Munda said in his congratulatory message.

"I also wish progress and prosperity of the new state under his leadership," he added.

Jharkhand was the 28th state of the country.
