The engineers hailing from Krishna district and working for a construction firm were reportedly kidnapped by suspected militants in Dimapur.

Hyderabad: Expressing concern over the reported abduction of two engineers from Andhra Pradesh by suspected militants in Nagaland, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today asked senior officials to get in touch with Government in the North-Eastern state to secure their safe release.

Naidu directed the special representative of Andhra Pradesh Government in Delhi, K Rammohan Rao, Resident Commissioner in the national capital, Chief Secretary and DGP to interact with officials of Nagaland to secure the speedy release of the two engineers, an official release said here.

The engineers - Pratish Chandra and Raghu - hailing from Krishna district and working for a construction firm were reportedly kidnapped by suspected militants in Dimapur two days ago.
