HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh government today tranferred intelligence chief A R Anuradha and appointed A B Venkateswara Rao as Additional DGP, Intelligence.

Anuradha is posted as DG, Vigilance and Enforcement, according to a Government Order (GO) issued by Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao.

The transfer of Anuradha, from the key post handling intelligence, was being speculated for long after the cash-for-vote controversy came to light.

Venkateswara Rao had been holding the post of Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada.

D Gautam Sawang is posted as Vijayawada Police Commissioner.
