Anurag Thakur blames Himachal Pradesh govt for delay in setting up CUHP
Thakur said the land had been identified at both the places and even the UPA government at the Centre then had approved the proposal.

The responsibility of the delay in setting up the campus of Central University is totally of the state government, as it is adamant in this regard, he told reporters here.
"The adamant attitude of the state government has caused inordinate delay in setting up the CUHP," said Thakur, adding that the previous BJP government had proposed a split campus of the varsity with 70 per cent part at Dehra, 40 kms away from Dharamsala and the rest at Dharamsala.
Thakur said the land had been identified at both the places and even the UPA government at the Centre then had approved the proposal.
When the Centre had agreed upon the proposal sent by the then BJP government, what was the need to send a revised proposal, he said.
Thakur was here to appear before the court in case of cheating registered against Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) on Friday.
The hearing of the cheating case against the HPCA, in which Thakur and former chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal have been named as accused, was adjourned to March 21.
The court also granted exemption to Dhumal as he could not appear due to some personal preoccupation.
Dhumal's younger son Arun Thakur also remained absent while the two other accused who did not appear were served notice.
