Anti talk ULFA, NDFB may target politicians, Assam police ahead of Republic Day
Police has arrested Kamal Nazary and hardcore ULFA cadre from Naogaon on Monday who revealed that he had plan of triggering explosion in Guwahati.

Singh said Nazary was asked by senior ULFA leader Dhristi Rajkhowa to trigger explosion in Guwahati.
Meanwhile Director General of National Investigation Agency (NIA) Sharad Kumar met Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi. NIA has started investigation in the massacre of December 23 last which killed 81 people. Kumar will visit violence affected areas on Wednesday.
A joint team of Army and Police apprehended two NDFB(S) cadres on Tuesday. Two Pistols and ammunition was recovered from them. These cadres were tasked by the organization to recruit new cadres, in view of the ongoing operation by the Army in Kokrajhar and Chirang Districts, as reveled by both of them.
These two individuals had been involved in extortion activities in the past and providing information about movement of security forces presently conducting operations against NDFB(S) in Kokrajhar and Chirang Districts.
