Anti-talk ULFA militants attack BJP for giving away land to Patanjali Ayurved
Anti-talk ULFA militants have asked the leadership of sixth scheduled area, Bodoland Territorial Council to reconsider its decision.

The Haridwar-based firm is setting up its biggest manufacturing plants at Ghoramari of Balipara in Sonitpur district of Assam, on November 6, chief minister; Sarbananda Sonowal laid the foundation stone for the project in presence of Ramdev.
The Assam facility will come up with an investment of Rs 1,300 crore will have manufacturing facility of 10 lakh metric tones (MT) per year.
Banned anti talk ULFA, which is also known as ULFA (Independent) has criticized the government’s land leasing policy.
Anti-talk faction’s publicity secretary Arunudoy Asom in a statement to media houses said, “Every year in Assam thousands of people in Assam loose their land, house and livelihood. The Government should first give them land to have a respectable life instead of giving land to Ramdev.”
The outfit added, “BJP government has failed to keep its political commitment of giving protection to the indigenous people of their land, community and livelihood”.
The outfit has asked the leadership of the sixth scheduled area, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) to reconsider its decision. BTC, which is being ruled by the Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF), an ally of BJP-led government has given 3,800 hectare of land in the Chirang district to yoga guru Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Trust.
The outfit said that there is ulterior motive behind Ramdev's outfit seeking such a huge piece of land. “Ramdev actually wants to make money by expanding his ayurvedic medicine business to the state. He will bring communal Aryan politics of the RSS here in the name of Patanjali Trust in Assam.”
