Another swine flu death in Karnataka, toll climbs to 15

BANGALORE: The swine flu death toll in Karnataka has climbed to 15 with a 28-year-old man succumbing to the virus, health officials said on Tuesday.

Siddaraju, who was brought to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases here on August 21 in a critical condition, died on Sunday night.

He had also tested positive for chikungunya. Nine new positive cases of swine flu were reported in Karnataka yesterday - eight in Bangalore and one in Shimoga.
