Another batch of 444 pilgrims leave Jammu for Amarnath
Amid tight security, a batch of 444 pilgrims left for the cave shrine of Amarnath in the south Kashmir Himalayas.

The batch of 342 men, 96 women and six children left in a motorcade of 13 vehicles from Bhagwati Nagar base camp here at 4.50 AM, a police official said.
Amid tight security arrangements provided by CRPF, the convoy has already crossed Kud on Jammu-Srinagar national highway.
With today's batch, as many as 45,886 pilgrims have so far left from the Jammu base camp for the shrine.
