AHMEDNAGAR: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare, who was discharged from a hospital in Gurgaon this evening, is likely to reach his native village Ralegan Siddhi in central Maharashtra on Thursday.

"Anna will return to Ralegan Siddhi tomorrow," Shyam Asawa, a lawyer and Hazare's associate, said.

Asawa said that Hazare talked to villagers on phone today and asked them not to arrange any lavish reception for him.

Ganesh idol at the public pandal in the village will be installed with his hands, as the Ganesh festival would start tomorrow. He would also address a 'gram-sabha' (public meeting) in the afternoon.

Hazare was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after he broke his 12-day fast for a strong Lokpal Bill.
