Anna Hazare to consolidate 'resources' in Ralegan Siddhi

NEW DELHI: The refurbished Team Anna appears to be drifting apart with activist Anna Hazare deciding to "consolidate" his resources in Ralegan Siddhi and use his Maharashtra-based organisation for building a movement.

This could in effect mean the end of the 'India Against Corruption' banner for which he and his associates fought after their bitter parting with Arvind Kejriwal, who started a political party. Hazare has also decided to close down his office in Sarvodaya Enclave here.

"Anna has consolidated his resources in Ralegan Siddhi. All planning will be done there. He already has Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andolan (BVJA)," activist Kiran Bedi told PTI. However, she said IAC will continue to be functional.

Asked whether the Delhi office will be closed down, she said it has become "surplus".

The Ralegan Siddhi office opened six days ago will be the centre of the movement.
