Anna Hazare, Baba Ramdev to fight graft together

Baba Ramdev said he had a long association with Anna Hazare and they would now work jointly against corruption and black money.

HARIDWAR: Joining hands, social activist Anna Hazare and Yoga guru Baba Ramdev today announced they would jointly fight for a strong Lokpal Bill and to bring back black money stashed in foreign banks.

Hazare, flanked by his team members Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, said he would continue his fight against graft and for a strong and an effective Lokpal Bill.

He had come to Haridwar to muster support in this regard, the Gandhian said at Ramdev's Patanjali Yogpeeth Ashram here.

"The Centre must worrry as we are now joining hands," Hazare said.

But, he said, he was not hungry for power and warned the government the fight for the finish had started.

"I am alive because I have a clean image. Otherwise, I would have been killed," Hazare said.
