Anganwadi workers should address "serious" issues of malnutrition: Rajasthan minister Anita Bhadel
Rajasthan's Women and Child Development Minister Anita Bhadel asked the anganwadi workers to address the "serious" issues of malnutrition.

She also said to strengthen the anganwadi centres, the government would link 10,000 centres in the state to 'Nand Ghar Yojana' in next two years to strengthen them.
"We will work at the micro-level at these centres to achieve better results," Bhadel said at a workshop.
She said consolidated efforts to contain the maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rate through better facilities at anganwadi centres were needed and the anganwadi workers should make their full efforts for the same.
Bhadel was addressing officers of the department during a workshop on integrated child development services here yesterday.
She on the occasion also released a booklet on primary stage childhood education.
The minister also said all information of the department is being connected with software so that work can be done smoothly and information is exchanged easily.
Rakesh Srivastava, ACS - Women and Child Development Department said the government was focusing on improving and strengthening anwanwadi centres across the state.
Special secretary H L Atal and other officers were present at the workshop.
