Andhra Pradesh's Chandrababu Naidu govt offering Swift Dzire cars to unemployed Brahmin youth: Report

Andhra Pradesh's chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will today distribute Swift Dzire cars to unemployed Brahmin youth under a self employment program, as per media reports.

As reported, 30 Swift Dzire will be distributed among the unemployed Brahmin youth today at TDP's office in Amravati.

As per a report of India Today, the Brahmin Welfare Corporation is providing a maximum of Rs 2 lakh as subsidy while the beneficiary has to bear 10 per cent of the cost of the vehicle. Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Cooperative Credit Society will pay the rest as a repayable loan in monthly instalments.


Recently, a report of The Hindu also quoted him saying that the Andhra govt will distribute a smart phone to each household in the state "to provide knowledge at the doorstep of the common man".
