HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is set to sign memoranda of understanding (MoU) with 46 global and domestic investors involving . 35,745 crore of investments ` on Wednesday at an industry mission program in Visakhapatnam.

In a statement, the chief minister's office said the investors have promised to provide employment to over 72,000 persons. Chief minister Naidu is also scheduled to unveil sector specific policies and a single window clearance portal that will enable investors to obtain all clearances within 21 days.

The companies that are scheduled to sign MoUs belong to petrochemicals, energy, infrastructure, electronics, manufacturing, food processing, textile and automobile industries among others. Among them are companies based in countries such as Japan, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
