The former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh has promised several welfare measures - ₹1,500 per month in bank accounts of women in the 19-60 age group, ₹15,000 per year for school going child, three gas cylinders free per year, free travel for women in state transport, ₹3,000 per month to unemployed youth and ₹20,000 per year to farmers - to woo the voters of the state.
Naidu, who was in the national capital to take part in a programme to release a gold coin in the memory of TDP founder NT Rama Rao, interacted with a select group of journalists.
Sharing his 'Sunrise Andhra Pradesh Vision', Naidu said he wants to focus on providing welfare along with wealth creation through the P4 model - People, Public, Private and Partnership.
On the question of caste census, Naidu, the former convener of NDA, from which his party moved out in 2019 months before the Lok Sabha polls, said the TDP supports the need for caste census.
