Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s security upgraded citing probable threat
Security agencies have noted Amrutha Castle hotel and Birla Mandir overlook the eighth floor and could become vulnerable points for Naidu's security.

His office is located on the eighth floor with one side of his room facing the main road leading to Telugu Talli flyover. Several private buildings of the same height are located opposite the CM's office building.
Security agencies have noted Amrutha Castle hotel and Birla Mandir overlook the eighth floor and could become vulnerable points for Naidu's security.
Similarly, they are of the view that the high elevation of the flyover has resulted in it almost facing the building and a potential security threat.
There are several other buildings from where one can watch the activities inside the building. Security experts have proposed an elevated security tower with floodlights to counter this.
"Earlier, it was decided to have bullet-proof glass at some places. But now we are going ahead with bullet-proofing the walls and additional security measures," an intelligence wing source said.
Officials said it would take some time to put all these security measures in place. The roads and buildings department is working overnight to complete works within the schedule.
Earlier, Naidu had rejected changes made to his offices citing vaastu issues. Chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao is learnt to have now taken this into consideration.
An attempt was made on Naidu's life when he was chief minister last.
