Andhra CM's chopper lands after going off radar
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy's helicopter was reportedly untraceable till a short while ago.

Reports that are just coming in say the helicopter has landed safely in Kurnool district. The chief ministers whereabouts are still a mystery.

The CM's helicopter had gone off the radar for a while due to heavy rains while on its way to Chittoor district. It was forced to make an emergency landing due to the bad weather, police and Air Traffic Control (ATC) sources said.

The police chief has, however, not officially confirmed the chopper's safe landing, according to TV channel Times Now.

The helicopter took off from Hyderabad earlier in the day. An army chopper was despatched to comb the forest area of Kurnool district where it is believed to have disappeared. The helicopter was supposed to reach Chittoor at 10.45am and when it did not arrive an alert was sounded.
