Union minister of state for external affairs Anand Sharma urged Pakistan to neutralise the Talibans by using its administrative, military and political leaderships.

KOLKATA: Union minister of state for external affairs Anand Sharma on Friday urged Pakistan to neutralise the Talibans by using its administrative, military and political leaderships.

Talking to reporters at Bidhan Bhavan---West Bengal state Congress headquarters on Friday, Mr Sharma also said that "the thrust of Talibans is a matter of deep concern and poses a threat to the stability and peace of the entire region. Pakistan today has become the epicentre of terrorism and the government of the country should work sincerely to stop this."

Sharma is in Kolkata and is likely to campaign for Congress candidates contesting the Lok Sabha elections in some key constituencies.
