UP scribes demand implementation of wage board recommendations

LUCKNOW: Demanding immediate implementation of Majithia wage board recommendations for journalists and non-journalists, employees of newspapers and news agencies today staged a demonstration here.

Shouting slogans, a large number of journalists and non-journalists of various newspapers and news agencies gathered at the Press Club and staged a demonstration.

Leaders of various political parties also participated in the agitation and extended their full support.

SP spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary and BJP MLA Suresh Chandra Tiwari said the delay in implementation of the wage board recommendation was "injustice".
