Amit Shah to meet BJP leaders during Jaipur visit today

Shah's visit assumes importance especially after the recent incident in Udaipur, where a tailor, Kanhaiya Lal Teli, was allegedly killed by two Muslim men in retaliation for support for the now suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma's comments against Prophet Mohammed.
BJP leaders have visited Teli's house and the party has been supporting bandh calls and protests against the state Congress government.
All senior state leaders will be present at the party office in Jaipur during the meeting with Shah on Saturday. BJP general secretary in-charge of Rajasthan Arun Singh will attend the meeting, apart from former chief minister Vasundhara Raje, state BJP president Satish Poonia and leader of opposition Gulab Chand Kataria.
The state BJP is organising a three-day training camp for all BJP MPs, MLAs and leaders from July 10 in Mount Abu. "This is our routine work where we organise training for the party leaders," Poonia told ET.The NDA's presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Rajasthan on July 12. The BJP state unit is planning to give a warm welcome to Murmu on her visit.
