Amit Shah to Contest From Naranpura

NEW DELHI Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi's close associate and a former minister, Amit Shah, will contest assembly polls from Naranpura in Ahmedabad. An accused in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh and Tulsi Prajapati alleged fake encounter cases, Shah is out on bail. He had returned to Gujarat in September after a gap of two years following the Supreme Court allowing him to enter the state.
