Amit Shah's all-out attack on Lalu in Bihar: 'From your wife to sons, you secured their future...'
During his one-and-a-half day trip to poll-bound Bihar, Union home minister Amit Shah set a target of 'Mission-225 plus' for the NDA in the 243-seat assembly. After landing in Patna on Saturday, he held two back-to-back closed-door meetings with party leaders to take stock of the ground situation ahead of the assembly elections.

During the meeting, Shah told party leaders that they should work to increase voter percentage on the lines of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Quoting specific examples, he said the BJP never had more than 23% votes in some regions of MP and around 21% votes in some areas of Maharashtra. But it identified the weak booths and worked on it to turn the tide in its favour. The leaders have been tasked to identify weak booths in Bihar, work for which will start soon. He presented a detailed roadmap for the coming six months ahead of elections. He told party leaders to work in coordination with the NDA parties and seat-sharing would be finalised in co-ordination with the top leadership of the parties. Shah attended a cooperative ministry programme in Patna along with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and unveiled projects worth ₹823 crore. Shah also addressed a public meeting in Gopalganj and promised a flood-free Bihar in the coming five years.
