Amit Shah justifies TSU naming, mocks Congress objections
Union Minister Amit Shah criticized the Congress party for opposing the naming of the upcoming Tribhuvan Sahkari University (TSU). Shah highlighted that the university is named after Tribhuvandas Kishibhai Patel, a Congress member and a key figure...

"When I came up with the Bill, the Lok Sabha Speaker called me to his chamber and informed me that Congress had objections to the naming of TSU. I want to address their concerns-this university is named after Tribhuvandas Kishibhai Patel, a pioneer of India's cooperative movement and a key figure in the founding of Amul," Shah said.
Shah noted that Congress leaders questioning the naming were unaware that Patel was, in fact, a Congress member-not a BJP leader. "My party didn't even exist then," he remarked, referring to Patel's movement in 1946.
