Amit Shah, Jaitley visit hospital to see Jayalalithaa

CHENNAI: BJP President Amit Shah and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday visited the Apollo Hospital to enquire about the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa's health.

The 68-year-old Jayalalithaa was admitted to the hospital on September 22 with fever and dehydration.

The Bharatiya Janata Party leaders spent some 20 minutes in the hospital. They did not speak to the media.

It is not known if they met Jayalalithaa or only spoke to doctors and AIADMK leaders.
