Amit Shah exhorts BJP leaders to contribute in flood relief work

NEW DELHI: Expressing concern over the flood situation in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Assam, BJP President Amit Shah today asked all party MPs, MLAs, leaders and workers to work towards providing relief measures in the three states.

Shah spoke to the leaders of BJP units in these states and asked them to immediately start flood relief work and help rehabilitate the affected people.

He also extended condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives in the floods.

The flood situation in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Assam is bad as many rivers in these states are flowing above the danger mark.
