Amit Shah, Dalai Lama to address World Hindu Congress in Delhi

Shah will address a session devoted to politics while Gadkari and Sitharaman will speak at the World Hindu Economic Forum.

GANDHINAGAR: Dalai Lama, BJP president Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Union ministers Smriti Irani, Nirmala Sitharaman and Nitin Gadkari will be among the people attending the inaugural session of the World Hindu Congress in Delhi on Friday.

The three-day conference is expected to host around 1,500 delegates from over 40 countries.

Liza Bhanshali, coordinator of Hindu Students Youth Network, said that while Bhagwat will attend all three days of the event, the others will attend the inaugural session and special sessions that they will address. Shah will address a session devoted to politics while Gadkari and Sitharaman will speak at the World Hindu Economic Forum.

Irani will address the Hindu Educational Conference with the likes of Vijay Bhatkar, chairman of IIT Delhi’s board of governors, and G Madhavan Nair, former chairman of ISRO.
