Amid BJP reshuffle buzz, top RSS brass to be in Delhi this week
The BJP is actively shaping its new organizational structure, with key discussions led by BL Santhosh involving CMs from Rajasthan and Tripura. As the RSS top brass, including Mohan Bhagwat, converges in Delhi, intense deliberations are anticipate...

The BJP is exploring bringing some leaders from the state to national politics and changing the responsibilities of some of its leaders at the national level.
On Friday, Santhosh met the CMs of BJP-ruled Rajasthan and Tripura--Bhajan Lal Sharma and Manik Saha --at the party headquarters here. The deliberations centred around organisational-related issues, it is learnt. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is expected to reach Delhi on Monday evening and is likely to stay for several days. Other top functionaries of the Sangh, including Dattatreya Hosabale, will also be present at the newly-constructed RSS office at Jhandewalan, over this week. Hectic parleys on the BJP's new organisational team and new president are expected to take place during the stay of these top RSS leaders.
Besides BJP's national president, another key appointment is that of BJP's Uttar Pradesh unit head, who will remain in the post till the 2027 assembly polls.
The selection process of BJP's new president has been delayed with sources indicating lack of agreement between the party and Sangh. However, RSS has officially downplayed these reports of differences with the BJP over this.
For the last several years now, the Sangh has not loaned its full-timers to BJP. As a result, the post of general secretary (organisation) in several state units is lying vacant, including in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala and Goa.
