Amarinder Singh spanner in Navjot Singh Sidhu's TV plans?

CHANDIGARH: Punjab CM Amarinder Singh on Monday said the state government will take legal opinion on whether Navjot Singh Sidhu can continue to work on TV.

“We will have to ask our advocate general to give us an opinion... whether a person who is a minister can do what he wants to do. It will depend entirely on what legal position is," Amarinder Singh said in an interview to a TV channel.

The chief minister said Sidhu will continue to be part of the popular TV programme, “The Kapil Sharma Show“.


Speaking on his relation with Sidhu, the chief minister said: “I have always had a very warm relationship with him and his family. They are Patiala family. The families have known each other for a long time."
