Amarinder Singh asks Parkash Singh Badal to clarify stand on Jat quota
CHANDIGARH: Senior Congress leader Amarinder Singh today asked Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to clarify his stand on inclusion of Jat community in the list of Other Backward Classes (OBCs).

Singh, who is also President of the All India Jat Maha Sabha, accused Badal of "double standards" saying on one hand the Shiromani Akali Dal passed a unanimous resolution seeking reservation for Jats in Punjab, while on the other the state government has not taken any initiative to follow up what the party has unanimously resolved.

In a statement here, he alleged that Badal was not keen on ensuring quota for Jats in Punjab and warned that he would be responsible if they get the benefit of reservation.
