NEW DELHI: Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh today met Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi in the backdrop of problems pertaining to seat sharing pact between the two parties in Uttar Pradesh.
However, what transpired at the meeting between the two leaders could not be ascertained.
Earlier in the day Singh said, "The seat-sharing talks (between SP and Congress) are making no headway. There is no formal talk. Since you (reporters) are insisting, I met the Prime Minister and Soniaji the day before yesterday and I have said that it is unnecessarily delayed for long."
