'All workers will go on massive strike in Puducherry tomorrow'

Stating this to PTI during the propaganda on the eve of the strike launched by a number of trade unions, including AITUC, CITU, INTUC, the General secretary of AITUC's local unit V S Abishegam said the significant feature of tomorrow`s strike was it would be observed as a 12 hour bandh from 6 AM.
He said privately run transport services,staff and workers of the insurance sector, telecom department and bank staff would also respond to the call for the strike tomorrow.
He alleged that the NDA rule at the Centre was 'pampering' the capitalists at the cost of the labourers.
