All political parties should vote against UPA government: BJP

The BJP has asked all the political parties in the country to vote against the UPA government, during the vote of confidence on July 22.

HYDERABAD : The BJP on Monday asked all the political parties in the country to vote against the UPA government during the vote of confidence on July 22.
"The question before the nation is who will lend support to the anti-poor and anti-farmer UPA government," senior party leader M Venkaiah Naidu told reporters here.
All political parties should take a firm stand on the performance of the UPA government which was not bothered about the welfare of the common man, he said.
Referring to a report about the alleged "horse-trading" to garner support for the trust vote, he said the political atmosphere in the country had been vitiated and the Prime Minister's image was going down with regard to political honesty.
Criticising the Samajwadi Party's decision to support the government on nuclear deal, the BJP leader wanted to know whether the Samajwadi Party was happy with the economic situation of the country.
Welcoming the decision of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which has three MPs, to vote against UPA government, Naidu asked MPs belonging to Telangana region irrespective of their political affiliation to follow suit if the Centre fails to give an assurance on separate Telangana state.
To a query, Naidu said none of the NDA alliance partners would vote in favour of UPA government.
