All political parties agreed that removal of Justice Verma has to be a joint call: Kiren Rijij

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “All political parties have agreed that the removal of Justice Verma has to be a joint call. There should be no issue with regards to in which House it has to be moved.” Once stakeholders have agreed that the motion will be moved in Lok Sabha and concurred in Rajya Sabha, as per rule, we should not remain under any doubt that proceedings to remove Justice Yashwant Varma will begin, the Union Minister told the press. He did not provide further details on the proceedings as the matter “is a property of the House.”
