All party MPs from UP against reservation in promotion

BADAUN: BJP MP from Aonla, Maneka Gandhi today claimed all party MPs from Uttar Pradesh were against reservation in promotion.

"All BJP MPs from UP are strongly opposed to reservation in promotion," Maneka said over phone, adding, that party MP Yogi Adityanath has already cleared his stand on the issue.

She said that in reality all MPs from UP were not in favour of reservation.

Condemning rising incidents of crime against women, Maneka sought capital punishment for rapists.

On the question of projecting Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate after victory in Gujarat elections, she said that any decision on this would be taken by the party.
