All eyes on tomorrow's CWC meet amid uproar sparked by Azad's resignation
According to some insiders, other than approving the date schedule, the meet could also see the party top brass "expressing confidence" in Sonia and Rahul Gandhi's leadership.

Amid a huge ruckus created by the sudden quitting of party stalwart Ghulam Nabi Azad, on eyes are on Sunday's meeting for what road the party might choose to take.
Azad ended his five-decade ties with the party on Friday, sending Sonia Gandhi a scathing letter on Rshul Gandhi's spectacular failings.
According to some insiders, other than approving the date schedule, the meet could also see the party top brass "expressing confidence" in Sonia and Rahul Gandhi's leadership.
The Congress has lately had to deal with a spate of high-profile exits — including that of old-timers Kapil Sibal and Ashwani Kumar.
The CWC meeting will be held virtually at 3:30 PM with Sonia Gandhi presiding over it, news agency PTI reported.
It will be held virtually because Sonia Gandhi is abroad for medical reasons, and Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have accompanied her.
The election of party's president could be delayed by a few weeks but not more than that, PTI said citing party sources.
The expectation is that Congress should have a full-time president by October, party insiders say.
Rahul Gandhi had resigned as president of the party following a disastrous show at 2019 general elections. Sonia Gandhi thereafter took over the reins as interim president, but offered to quit in August 2020 after an open revolt by several frontline leaders (the G-23). The CWC, however, urged her to continue.
