Akhilesh Yadav invites Karnataka industry leaders to Uttar Pradesh

BANGALORE: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today invited Karnataka industry leaders to visit his state to explore business opportunities.

"Yadav has invited industry leaders to visit UP and discuss various issues with the government there," Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry President K Shiva Shanmugam said in a statement here.

An FKCCI delegation met Yadav, who is on a two-day visit here.

In this endeavour, a high-powered FKCCI delegation will visit UP shortly, he added.

Shanmugam said both Karnataka and UP can work together in ensuring adequate infrastructure for manufacturing and attract investments.

He also said UP has a huge human resource potential which Karnataka can take advantage of. "We need a manufacturing revolution as early as possible," he added.
