Akhil Gogoi opposes Anna's political party

Guwahati: There is dissenting voices in Team Anna over the decision of floating a political party. Core group member in Team Anna, Akhil Gogoi has opposed the move and asked Anna to reconsider the decision.

Akhil who is also the leader of peasant organization, Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) said that he did not agree with the decision to form political party. The massive popular base of India Against Corruption should not be used to fight election.

Akhil had opposed this move during the committee's meeting in April 22. Akhil is presently unwell and undergoing treatment.

KMSS publicity secretary, Kamal Medhi said that the decision was taken in post-April 22 meetings in which Akhil did not take part.
