NEW DELHI/AMRITSAR: Akal Takht media adviser on Wednesday described as "very serious" the Haryana Police registering a case involving the alleged preparation of a fake forensic report linked to a viral video clip of Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann.

The media adviser for the Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat, Jaskaran Singh, urged police to expose everyone involved in the case, a day after two men were arrested.

The Gurugram police arrested two men on Tuesday and registered a case based on a complaint from a person who alleged someone approached him to procure a fabricated forensic report of the viral video.

Singh said the case registered by the Haryana Police regarding the preparation of a "fake" forensic report - in connection with the alleged objectionable video "with the intent to deceive the Sikh community and the people of Punjab and to prove Akal Takht wrong" - is a very serious matter.
