Rajasthan Anti Terrorism Squad arrested a second suspect, allegedly linked to Hindu outfits, and on Saturday detained another person in Madhya Pradesh in connection with the 2007 Ajmer Dargah blast.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Anti Terrorism Squad arrested a second suspect, allegedly linked to Hindu outfits, and on Saturday detained another person in Madhya Pradesh in connection with the 2007 Ajmer Dargah blast.

Chandrashekhar, suspected to have links with Hindu outfits, was arrested from Madhya Pradesh on Friday and was produced before an Ajmer court which remanded him in 11-day police custody.

He is suspected to be a key member of the terror module involved in the blast in which three persons were killed and is believed to have links with Hindu outfits, sources said.

Chandrashekhar is the second person to be arrested in connection with the case this week. On Wednesday, Devendra Gupta, with alleged links with Hindu group Abhinav Bharat Sangathan, was arrested by Rajasthan Police in connection with the blast.

Officials are also probing Gupta's alleged links with Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, a key accused in the Malegaon blast case.

Both the accused will be produced again before the court on May 12.
