Ajit Pawar's wife, Sunetra files Rajya Sabha nomination after Baramati Lok Sabha poll defeat
On June 13, 2024, Sunetra Pawar, the wife of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, filed her candidacy papers as an NCP candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections. However, she previously lost in the Baramati constituency during the recent Lok Sabha elections, while her sister-in-law, Supriya Sule, secured her fourth consecutive win.
