He was elected from Churhat for the first time in 1985 and since then, he has won all elections from there.

BHOPAL: Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Ajay Singh today filed his nomination papers from Churhat constituency in Sidhi district for the upcoming Assembly elections.

The state is slated to go for polls on November 25. Ajay filed his papers around noon in the office of SDM Churhat and was accompanied by a large number of Congress workers.

He was elected from Churhat for the first time in 1985 and since then, he has won all elections from there.

The only time he lost was in 1993 when he had contested against Sunderlal Patwa of the BJP from the Bhojpur constituency in Raisen district.
