Ajay Maken ready to debate with Arvind Kejrwal

NEW DELHI: Unlike Kiran Bedi who ducked Arvind Kejrwal’s dare for a live debate, Congress electoral face Ajay Maken not only gamely accepted AAP leader’s proposal but even said he would be ready to have “two to four rounds” of debate with Kejriwal on all issues.

Responding to Kejrwal’s challenge for a debate, Maken said, “great! I am ready for a structured debate.

Let people of Delhi make a comparative assessment. This will be a healthy tradition. I believe a structured debate should take place in a mutually accepted TV channel or agency moderated by a mutually accepted anchor,” he said.

In an indirect taunt at Bedi, Maken said debate between the leaders of major parties in the poll ring would help them spell out before the voters their respective vision and ability to speak on critical issues faced by Delhi population.
