“The government has failed in providing jobs to youth and pushed the economy into deep crises due to its policies over the past five years,” it said.
The All India Trade Union Congress on Thursday said it strongly condemns the government’s move to unilaterally repeal Article 370 and 35A of the Constitution.

“They did it in a conspiratorial manner. Neither Kashmiri people nor the Parliament was taken into confidence,” AITUC said in a statement, three days after the reorganisation of J&K Bill was passed in Parliament.

According to AITUC, this action in regard to J&K is meant to make the people forget about their issues of price-rise, unemployment and right to living with dignity.

“The government has failed in providing jobs to youth and pushed the economy into deep crises due to its policies over the past five years,” it said.

AITUC has called upon the working class to stand with the people of Jammu & Kashmir and organise protests all over India, opposing the undemocratic ways of the government to abrogate Article 370 & 35A and bifurcation of the state without consulting the population of the state, it said in a statement.
