The stage is set for the Congress to hold its all-India session from Tuesday in Ahmedabad after a hiatus of 64 years.

For the principal Opposition party in Gujarat that has been precariously losing its electoral ground in the state, the grand event is expected to inject some vitality into the party. The party will hold the Congress Working Committee meeting at Sardar Patel Memorial in Shahibaug on Tuesday and the AICC session on the "banks of Sabarmati" on Wednesday.
