Ahmed Patel condoles death of former President APJ Abdul Kalam

VADODARA: Ahmed Patel, political secretary to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, has expressed his profound sorrow over the demise of former President APJ Abdul Kalam.

In his message, Patel said, "Very sorry to hear about the passing away of former president and India's missile man Abdul Kalamji. He will be remembered as a visionary and even on his last day, he did what he loved- teaching."

The former President had breathed his last at Bethany Hospital, Shillong, Meghalaya yesterday after he collapsed during a lecture at the IIM.
